Another late Le Guin novel that is a sort of finale to the Earth-Sea books. Not so strident as "Tehanu", but the series has lost its charm.

This ended up as a deus-ex-machina that really ruined the storyline. I'd preferred more info on the thinly described characters.

2004 - Tooth and Claw - Walton

A Victorian romance with dragons, this should have been a fan fic for the "otherkin" online, never published, read or awarded by real people.

2005 - Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell - Clarke

A vaguely interesting surrealist melodrama.

Someone did their Egyptology studies and wanted to show off...
